La Grande Chatelaine er en vin fra 1993, fremstillet af Maison Champy under klassifikationen Appellation Côte de Beaune Contrôlée. Vinen kommer fra vinmarken af samme navn i Bourgogne-regionen i Frankrig. Maison Champy, der blev grundlagt i 1720 af Edmé Champy, er Bourgognes ældste vinhus og fejrede sit 300-årsjubilæum i 2020. Huset har en unik kulturhistorie, idet Louis Pasteur havde sit laboratorium her og udførte de eksperimenter, der førte til opfindelsen af pasteurisering. Desuden er husets nuværende bygning designet af Gustave Eiffel og er i dag klassificeret som et historisk monument.
Vinen er produceret i Côte de Beaune, som udgør den sydlige halvdel af Côte d'Or og strækker sig omkring byen Beaune. Området er præget af et kontinentalt klima med varme somre og kolde vintre, hvor de østvendte skråninger nyder godt af morgensolen. Jordbunden består af kalk, ler og mergel-aflejringer fra Jura-perioden, hvilket skaber stor variation fra parcel til parcel og danner grundlaget for områdets detaljerede klassifikationssystem. Årgang 1993 i dette område har opnået en score på 85 point og beskrives som havende en god struktur og en klassisk stil.
Côte de Beaune rummer mange af verdens mest prestigefyldte vinmarker og fungerer som hjertet af Bourgognes hvidvinsproduktion, hvor Chardonnay dominerer beplantningerne i syd, mens Pinot Noir er mere udbredt i nord. Maison Champy, der i dag driver 21 hektar primært koncentreret omkring Pernand-Vergelesses, har siden 2017 været en del af Maison Louis Latour-gruppen. Produktionen har siden 1999 været ledet af vinmageren Dimitri Bazas, og mere end halvdelen af vingårdens arealer er økologisk certificeret. Vinen er aftappet af Champy Père & Cie i Beaune og har en alkoholprocent på 13 %.
