We perform quality checks on all wines, examining the label, cork and seal, as well as the condition of the wine. This way we create the best conditions for the wine to still be good and drinkable.

We work with skilled and trustworthy suppliers, and we perform authenticity tests on the wines when they arrive at our warehouse. Here we review the seal, label, bottle number and much more, so that we ensure that the wine is genuine.

We select the wines based on strict quality requirements.
The wines must be from quality producers, stored according to all the rules of the art, and pass our final quality assurance when the wine arrives at our warehouse.

Pauillac Château Pibran 1993
Château Pibran er en anerkendt Cru Bourgeois beliggende i Pauillac i Bordeaux-regionen. Siden 1987 har slottet været ejet af AXA Millésimes, den franske forsikringskoncerns vingren, hvis portefølje også tæller prominente ejendomme som Château Pichon-Longueville Baron, Château Suduiraut og Quinta do Noval. Driften af Château Pibran foregår parallelt med Pichon-Baron under ledelse af Christian Seely. Dette tætte samarbejde giver Pibran direkte adgang til den samme tekniske ekspertise og de høje kvalitetsstandarder, der præger det prestigefyldte 2. Cru Classé-naboslot.
Vinen kommer fra Pauillac i Haut-Médoc, som er en af verdens mest berømte rødvinsappellationer. Området er kendetegnet ved sine grusholdige jorde tæt på Gironde-floden og er et absolut benchmark for venstrebreds-Bordeaux, idet det huser tre af de fem oprindelige 1. Cru Classé-slotte fra 1855. De 17 hektar vinmarker hos Château Pibran producerer et klassisk venstrebreds-blend, hvor Cabernet Sauvignon udgør rygraden. Årgang 1993 i området beskrives overordnet som let og klassisk.
Denne udgave fra 1993 er aftappet direkte på slottet og bærer appellationen Pauillac Contrôlée. Flaskens etiket er desuden prydet med våbenskjoldsteksten "PAVILLACVS", som understreger slottets historiske tilknytning til området. Vinen har en alkoholprocent på 13 %.

Bordeaux
Bordeaux on the Atlantic is the world's most famous wine region and has been exporting wine since the Middle Ages. The legendary 1855 classification still ranks the area's leading châteaux. On the left bank of the Gironde, Cabernet Sauvignon dominates on gravel soils, while the right bank is the domain of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The region is known for elegant, age-worthy blends of great finesse.

Storage
Store the bottle horizontally at 12–14°C and avoid direct sunlight, vibrations, and temperature fluctuations.
Opening
Allow the bottle to stand upright for 24–48 hours before opening to allow sediment to settle. Use a professional corkscrew and open carefully.
Enjoyment
Serve at 17–18°C and be patient – there is a great difference in how and how quickly wines open up when they are aerated.
