The 1986 Château Côte de Baleau is a French red wine holding the Appellation Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Contrôlée. Produced by Société Civile des Grandes Murailles, the estate is located in Saint-Émilion on the right bank of Bordeaux. This historic area, situated east of the city of Bordeaux, is celebrated for its medieval town and its own unique classification system. This Saint-Émilion Grand Cru was bottled directly at the estate and features an alcohol content of 12.5 percent. Furthermore, this particular release was specially selected by Les Compagnons des Muids du Roy.

Storage
Store the bottle horizontally at 12–14°C and avoid direct sunlight, vibrations, and temperature fluctuations.
Opening
Allow the bottle to stand upright for 24–48 hours before opening to allow sediment to settle. Use a professional corkscrew and open carefully.

Serve at 17–18°C and be patient – there is a great difference in how and how quickly wines open up when they are aerated.
